As soon as you receive your spelt bread order, please freeze any loaves that will not be consumed right away. This will preserve its optimum freshness. You can take out a few slices at a time to thaw as you need.
A loaf of bread that will be consumed within 5 days may be placed in a bread box; however, you may still want to freeze part of the loaf if you are unsure of how fast you will consume it. Freezing bread preserves its freshness, especially when it is in a thick bag such as the ones we use to vacuum seal and ship your bread.
